Helen Fielding's "Bridget Jones's Diary".

From Monday 28 February, we are reading Bridget Jones's Diary. As the name suggests, and you already know, the novel is written in the form of a personal diary, and chronicles a year in the life of Bridget Jones, a thirty-something single working woman living in London. She writes (often humorously) about her career, self-image, vices, family, friends, and romantic relationships.
I am sure most of you will have seen the film, but the novel is very interesting because it has got a lot of British and American pop culture references, some more obvious than others. Chad came across a site that explains a lot of them. So, if you are interested, click on the link below. Thanks, Chad!
