From Monday 28 February, we are reading Bridget Jones's Diary. As the name suggests, and you already know, the novel is written in the form of a personal diary, and chronicles a year in the life of Bridget Jones, a thirty-something single working woman living in London. She writes (often humorously) about her career, self-image, vices, family, friends, and romantic relationships.
I am sure most of you will have seen the film, but the novel is very interesting because it has got a lot of British and American pop culture references, some more obvious than others.
